My name is Kirsty. I am 43 years old and currently work as a Primary School Teacher in central Auckland. Prior to this I worked as an educator at Auckland Zoo. 

I began house/pet sitting since December 2017. In December 2019 I took a break from house sitting and I'm now looking to get back into it. I can provide references which vouch for my reilablity and trustworthness as a pet sitter. 

I absolutely adore animals and love the oppertunity house sitting gives me to take care of them. As a full time worker my preference is to house sit cats. I will treat your fur baby and home as if it were my own.

Working with both children and animals has given me a good sense of when they are unhappy. My attention to detail will mean that should your pet get sick while you are away I will notice straight away and take action to ensure they get the help they need.

I am a clean person who will treat your house even better then I would my own. I understand that each home owner will have their own expectations and instructions and you will be able to trust me to listen and follow your wishes when it comes to the care of your home while you are away. You will arrive back from your time away to a happy pet and a well cared for home.

I accept house sits in or close to central Auckland suburbs that allow me to get to work without too much trouble.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIRSTY TO HOUSE AND PET SIT - AWESOME EXPERIENCE WITH HER!! Knowing Kirsty was at our house with our cheeky dog was a huge weight off our minds. Kirsty was confident but relaxed. Skye is a high energy dog and has some big issues with chasing just about everything and on-lead aggression towards other dogs which makes us nervous leaving her with other people. Kirsty was great right from the start- she asked sensible questions and wasn't phased by Skye's over-enthusiastic welcome! We had a good chat about all Skye's quirks when she came round to meet her. Even though we were only away for a few days, Kirsty kept us up to date and sent a great picture of Skye all tuckered out after her run. Kirsty was a wonderful house sitter, she was right on time for the initial visit and was really organised, asking good questions. The house looked immaculate when we got home and the dogs were really well looked after. She had given them a good walk everyday and she sent us photos of them and they looked very happy. She put up with all their little quirks, even my little Oscar's determination to sleep on her bed! She returned any texts promptly while we were away.
