Kia Ora! My Name is Amber and I'm a 25 year old originally from Dunedin but I have now lived in Auckland for four years. I work in recruitment and have a massive passion for animals! I have been vegetarian since I was 6 and then turned vegan 7 years ago. I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and they have all been a mix bag of breeds and behaviours! My first family dog was a very calm and placid golden retriever mixed with a German shepherd. The most loving gentle giant. I since have had a spaniel mix and then a pure breed cocker spaniel, they have been so energetic and full of life. Both dogs have definitely taught me and my family how to handle hyper active dogs. Since living in Auckland I have dearly missed living around my family dogs. My colleague (who dog sits using this app) suggested this may be a nice possibility to meet and care for others people precious family members!

I have also dog sat a few of my colleagues animals which I have loved as well. The dogs I have looked after are the Pomeranian and the Japanese spitz shown in my photos. I have done over night stays and walks with them. Both are very lovely dogs and easy to handle.

I am currently in a flat with 4 other young professionals. It is a fenced off property with a medium sized backyard. I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays alone so I am more than happy to bring your pet over for a weekday stay.

I would be honoured to take care of your pets as I can understand how important they are to a family. I am a very trustworthy, respectful person who would love to help!
