Kia Ora,

By way of introduction my name is Alice Barrow. I am in my mid (heading into late 20s eek) and based in Auckland. I grew up in Dunedin in a house nicknamed the zoo - we had 4 cats, 4 dogs (mix of big and small), rabbits and chickens - luckily we have a rather large section so there was enough space for all. 

Moving into a renting situation and having gotten older I now very much miss having a furry conpanion around, and would love to have the opportunity to help both pet owners out (seeing my parents struggle to get reliable sitters) and also get the opportunity to live out my pet owning dream. 

I am quite active with walking being my second favourite activity behind cooking. So am more than prepared to go for walks and, having grown up with Australian cattle dogs - grumpy creatures, I am very good at being in control of animals. Weirdly, I love to teach dogs tricks. Whenever I go home I always try to teach Finley, our current Red Heeler a new trick or too. 

Animal sitting wise, I have looked after cats, a puppy and dogs a handful of times. I have however been a nanny - looking after children as a part time job for 6 years. The children's ages started at 9months to 14 years.

In summary, I am a lover of all animals, have great experience with domestic animals, and have had too many years of changing diapers - simply put, am very much ready for an animal, just house wise am not. 

I work Monday - Thursday in my office and work from home on Friday, and as such can only offer Dog Day care on Fridays.
