I worked for 8 years as a vet nurse at a vet clinic in East Auckland. I loved the job but after 8 years it was time to move on and I made the move into
the corporate world! I did a variety of tasks such as customer service, animal husbandry, surgery, dentistry, radiography to name a few. I am experienced in medicating animals so more than happy to discuss any requirements your pets may have. While vet nursing I house sat for a number of clients, specifically those with medical conditions which required a bit more TLC. I have always treated others fur babies as if they were my own.
I have just recently purchased my first home so looking forward to getting pets again at some point in the future! I previously had two dogs (a Labrador and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and a cat who unfortunately have passed away! I am intending on working with an orphanage and fostering kittens - which was also something I was passionate about when I worked as a vet nurse.
I work in Human Resources in an Employment Relations role and had a criminal check. Due to the nature of my role I understand the importance of confidentiality and privacy.
I offer pet sitting (whether it be physically staying at the address during the duration for cats and dogs and others. Or for those just wanting a daily visit for their cats more than happy to do a visit a day to feed and medicate them - this would involve anywhere from 15mins onwards depending on how much attention the cat requires).
Dog walking is for 30 minutes however more than happy to negotiate longer periods of time.
and more than happy to do additional activities such as collecting mail etc.
If you have any questions please feel free to get in contact with me!
