Kia Ora fellow pet owners,
My husband and I love animals and have had a variety over the years, from cats and dogs to competition horses. We are a calm household with a lot of experience in animal behaviour and training.
We have done house sitting throughout NZ when we first arrived (6 yrs ago) and more recently have looked after greyhounds while deciding whether a new dog would fit into our life. Now that we have our own dog again, we have certain days working from home, as well as weekends focussed more around the dog and spending time outdoors. We have used house sitting services for our own dogs and horses and know how important it is to know that your dog is comfortable during your absence.
Our Dog, Digby, is a Whippet x Beardie and as he is still young, we are very active during the weekend, with a focus on socialising and training. Your dog is welcome to
join, or can stay home if longer walks are not suitable.
I can offer daycare for one other dog during the couple of days a week I work from home and overnight stays during weekends. Most of my time is spend with Digby and your dog is welcome to join.
We have a house and reasonable size, fully fenced, garden which is accessible throughout the day as long as I'm home. However, please note that our property has a number of steps and stairs and your dog would need to go up and down the steps without trouble. Therefore if your pooch is struggling with hip dysplasia or severe arthritis, my property may not be for you.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Thanks Ellen for being so caring to Munchie and communication is great as well! Very recommended 😊
