I have a pup of my own, who is well adjusted to other dogs as I foster puppies as well and baby sit for friends' dogs :) I am currently a Post graduate student specialising in Psychology (human though haha!)
I adopt the philosophy of knowing dogs for who they are, rather than just a name, or a number (or a pay check!!). So let me know what your pup likes, dislikes, their little quirks, the whereabouts of their itchy ticklish spots :o I believe that all dogs can be good dogs given the appropriate encouragement and I use positive reinforcement (you sit and you get a treat!) and negative punishment (you don't come when I call, im taking your toy away!). I allow dogs be dogs and that can sometimes get very rowdy, but I usually stop it at about 80% 'craziness' so they don't get overstimulated and overwhelmed.
My property is fully fenced (1.8m all around) and dogs will have full access to the yard whenever they like (except when it's pouring, yuck!), and the entire living room. I have pens and rooms available to separate dogs if anything arises - sometimes they just need some time alone to chill out!
During the day, dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms. But if your baby is coming for a staycation, they'll be allowed in the bedroom for bedtime with us :) or if they are used to sleeping somewhere Else, that can be arranged too!
Feel free to arrange for a free meet and greet. After all, your pup and I gotta like each other! i have treats, toys, cuddles to give - come on pups! :)
