Hi, I'm Matthew Johnson and I have always been really fond of animals! I am currently a second-year university student at AUT studying Business, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. I spend a few afternoons a week at my part time job which involves looking after children in an after school care at a primary school.

While I'm on university break over the summer (mid Nov - late Feb) I thought that a great way to spend my spare time and to earn some extra money would be looking after pets. I love animals and enjoy spending my spare time looking after and fussing over them. I am especially fond of cats and currently I have 2 - Tia and Sadie - who I love. I have previously owned a dog (Golden Retriever) Sandy for approximately 5 years (who sadly passed away), and also have had rabbits, fish and chickens! I am comfortable looking after all these animals and I am also more than happy to walk dogs if needed.

I am a Mount Albert local and have been my whole life. I know the area and surrounding suburbs really well, and have a full drivers licence so I can travel a distance if needed. I am reliable, responsible, and honest. I will take great care in your home and give your animals all the cuddles and attention they deserve. I have previously looked after cats for 3 families - 2 which I visited the cats daily to feed and care for, and one where I lived in to keep the cat company and look after the house.

My animal visits usually last between 30-40 minutes, but longer visits can be arranged. I am happy to walk dogs too, I usually aim for these to last between 45 minutes and an hour.
