Hi all! I’m Briana. I’m a 19-year-old gal studying biology and chemistry at UOA. I hope to be a wildlife conservationist one day. I currently work at a pet store, and I have had experience as a paid pet sitter, paid baby bird looker-afterer (if that’s what you’d call it!) at New Zealand Bird Rescue, and volunteer work with Auckland veterinarians and Kiwi Valley.
I like to go for walks everyday and I would love to have a dog to take along with me! I’m based in Te Atatu South. The walk would be for 60 mins (or longer if you’ve got a larger, more energetic dog). Walks would ideally be early morning or late night.
I also wouldn’t mind doing daily check ups for people with dogs, cats, mice, rats, reptiles (aquatic or terrestrial), rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, amphibians (incl. axolotls and salamanders) and parrots while you go on holiday. My expertise lie with all of these animals and I either have experience owning them, or working with them! Check ups would be at various times of day depending on my university/work schedule.
I currently own two Indian ringneck parakeets (Bailey and Casper), and have some honorary pets including the cat, dog, goldfish, frog and axolotl at my parents house.
Please note that the prices advertised apply to customers within 3km of me (8 minute drive or less). Houses further away will cost an extra $5 per 3km to cover time and petrol.
I’d love for you to introduce me to your furry, feathery or scaly friends. I can take on pets of all shapes, personalities and sizes. Can’t wait to hear from you!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Briana is friendly and was very confident with our birds. She is reliable and has great communication. She kept us updated with photos of the birds. We would book her again. Thanks Briana :)
