Kia ora! I have a big love for all animals, but especially dogs; I had my own dog growing up, and was fully responsible for taking care of her so I come with many years of experience. I also grew up with bunny rabbits, goats and cows who were all treated as pets. Additionally, I've been looking after other people's pets for many years, so I am comfortable and capable of handling dogs that aren't familiar with me. I especially love looking after slightly nervous animals; there is nothing more rewarding than earning their trust with a lot of love and patience. I am yet to meet a dog I can't win over. 

If you're planning a trip, I know it can be hard to leave your pets behind, but I can make the process a little easier by providing your dog (and any other pets!) with loving care in their familiar environment while you're away. I work at AUT as a lecturer in microbiology, so I will be away in the office or lab during working hours and your pup would have to be used to that. But when I am home they will have 120% of my attention, and get plenty of cuddles, walks, runs and adventures to suit their preferences. I am also more than happy to keep you up to date with our adventures while you're away and will send you lots of pics of your fur-babies to make sure you don't miss them too much.
