Hello!

My name is Edwina and I am 25 years of age,

I completed a Certificate in Animal Management-General Training at Unitec in 2014, we covered topics such as animal anatomy, animal clinical care, animal husbandry, and behavior, and it was through the work experience part of this course that I began my first job at a dog groomers as an apprentice.

I learnt first hand how to work with dogs and how to read their body language to ensure that they were comfortable and happy, and over the years have developed an affinity for dogs. I worked up from a bathing assistant to an independent dog groomer with my own client base. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a dog groomer but due to a repetitive strain injury I have had to look at alternatives such as pet sitting. I have worked locally as a dog sitter for over a year, but now am looking to travel and pet sit all over NZ. I have worked at a dog daycare for almost 2 years, and completed 40 hours work experience at a cattery.

I provide house visit services, where I can visit your home to check in on your pet daily, 40 minutes each visit. These visits will cover feeding, cleaning, excecise, play, company and anything else required to ensure they are happy, safe and comfortable.

I also provide 24 hour housesitting services where I stay with your pet at your place for the duration of your holiday. This allows them to have company and be cared for while still having the familiarity and comfort of their own home and surroundings. I always keep the house very clean and tidy and take extra precautions regarding the front door/gates for their safety. I will take your dog on walks during the day as agreed or exercise them in the garden if preferred. I am more than happy to tailor a plan to best suit your pet,
