Hey! I am a stay at home mum in Stanmore Bay and would love to look after your pets!
We only take one booking at a time so you can be sure your pet is getting lots of attention and you will get lots of updates!
I live with my husband (High School Teacher) and my baby boy, who is 13 months old. As I am a stay at home mum I rarely leave the house for more than a few hours at a time and have a very flexible schedule so am able to spend a lot of time with your pet. We have a fully fenced, decent sized back lawn and can provide a small - medium sized kennel. Your pet can sleep inside if they are fully house trained!
Our house is situated on a reserve which provides awesome areas for dog walking and exploring as well as being within walking distance of the beach. Bubs and I love to go walking most days - he loves animals and is very gentle with them! I have always believed kids need animals in their lives but we are unfortunately unable to have one of our own at present so I figure having other dogs and animals coming to stay is a pretty close substitute! Your pet will be treated as one of the family and we miss our previous 'guests' when they go home.
As a child I desperately wanted pets, particularly a dog. I once rescued a rabbit called Snowy at around 10 years old which I was allowed to keep and after much begging my parents got a dog for us all! He was a Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) called Sparkie. We then moved to a lifestyle block (my dream come true) and I enjoyed raising calves in my teenage years. I have cared for my own pets as a child/teenager, the pets of the families I have nannied for (including overnight) as well as having cared for dogs already through Pawshake (see reviews). I have also been a nanny for many years so understand what it is like to look after someone so precious! I am good at following instructions/routine and can provide a very loving home.
Animals must be house trained (or stay outside), vaccinated, flea-free and child-friendly.
We have a smoke-free, clean home. I only ever take one booking at a time (except for a few hours overlap on pick up/drop off days) which means your pet(s) gets lots of one-on-one attention and the best care possible! New pets need to have a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure a good fit. Calendar shows availability for days that I am only out for 4 hrs max. Please still enquire if it is marked as unavailable as we may still be able to work something out!
Looking forward to meeting you!

Christie seems like a lovely person who really cares about the animals she looks after. My dog is quite old and on medication but Christie was very accommodating, and it was no problem to do a few extra things. Thanks Christie, very much appreciated.
Christie was great with Phoebe, on this first stay. Phoebe can get quite anxious, but was totally relaxed and happy when I picked her up. Many thanks Christie.
