Hello, my name is Catherine and my husbands name is Wade. We are 30 and 31 years Old from South Africa. We have recently moved to New Zealand to work and live. I am a teacher by profession and my husband is in insurance and is a qualified paramedic. Wade is starting his journey with St John shortly so will be on the road as a paramedic full time soon. We have a 2 year old son named Joshua who is full of beans but so full of love too. My husband and I have many years pet sitting and house sitting experience in South Africa. I have built a great relationships with the families I have worked for, and more importantly, I have built amazing relationships with the animals I have cared for. I make sure to be in touch very closely with the families I house sit for, making sure to message and call daily to let you know how you're babies are doing. I believe in an open line of communication.

I have always owned a variety of pets of my own. I have owned large breed dogs--bull mastiffs, boarder collies, jack Russell's, cats and pitbulls. My animals are a part of the family and we love them dearly. I have looked after all kinds of animals, ranging from dogs (large to small breeds), parrots, sphinx cats, snakes and even a hedgehog.

Myself and my husband are very responsible and serious home bodies. We love to be at home or doing very chilled activities over the weekend (including walking the dogs, going to the beach and relaxing). We both love animals and miss our babies back home so would love to look after yours and cuddle and care for them. We would also like our son to be bought up with animals so would love the opportunity for him to be exposed to a variety of animals. Wade is a handyman is his own right so he is able to garden and maintain the house should we be required to house sit long term. I am a OCD cleaner ☺ we have our own car and live in Albany and work in Devonport so anywhere on the shore.
