Hi! my name's Lexi, my whole life I've grown up with every animal out there, dogs, cats, pigs, horses, chickens, and cows etc. I absolutely love animals but most importantly I love animals feeling at home. My old dog used to get anxious and so we always have to find the right sitter for him.

I currently have one cat, Jessie (short haired cat) which I share with my sister. My parents have 2 dogs and a cat and are regular foster parents. They also have 4 horses, pigs, calves and too many chickens to count who I sit when they are away. We are definitely an animal family and this has translated into my love for animals. My mum is a positive reinforcement dog trainer so I have experience with dogs with anxiety, stress, as well as behavioural issues. I currently work full time in recruitment however this does provide me with flexibility to pop in and check in on your pet and the flexibility to do home stays.

I have a Bachelors of Science with a major in psychology which took me into recruitment but also has provided me with skills in picking up on body language and animal behaviour.

I can administer medication if need be! I can do house visits and dog walks.

House visits - I am only available on Saturdays and Sundays or short home visits when it’s a check in. When doing house visits I spend as much time as you would like me to. I always make sure they are settled and spend an hour or two with them to give them a cuddle and all the attention they need.

Walkies - depending on your dog's fitness ability and what sort of exercise you'd like for your dog, is how long I am happy to spend with them! Always happy to spend as much time as you'd like me too.

If I'm house sitting, I go to work however, always set them up in the morning and then come home early from work to spend time with them. If I'm doing home visits I will happily visit them on my lunch break if your place is close, or I can do the afternoon (I do work in south Auckland). For a weekend, I'm happy to spend the whole day with your fur babies!

No matter if it's a drop in or a weekend away I'll send you pictures of your fur babies getting all the attention and how their day is going.
