Kasey

Hi! My name is Kasey and I'm an eighteen year old student. I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand into a large cheerful family and I love animals! Being an empathetic peoples-person who wants to help others has lead me to Pawshake. Despite being unable to have a pet of my own, I have always actively surrounded myself with all kinds of animals so that I can still experience taking care of them. I'd love to meet many more animals and experience the joy of caring for them while giving you a hand.

I have experience in dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting while doing house visits and house sitting to give friends a hand while they are away. I have a range of experience in handling animals such as guinea pigs, chinchillas, birds, mice, rats and horses. I am capable of understanding general animal behaviour and how to respond to pets in greeting them, carrying them, and playing with them. I also have regular contacts for babysitting (humans!) and through all these experiences, I have learned how to follow instructions well, how to bond and make friends in difficult situations and how to take initiative when neccessary. I'm responsible, reliable and good at communicating.

The well being of your pet is my main focus and I will give them special care according to their specific needs. I offer pet sitting and dog walking services, and if your pet requires extra attention, I can spend a few hours or a day at your house to be with them. I can also carry out small tasks for you while you are away, such as security checks, watering plants etc. If you want, I can also regularly send you updates.
