About me

I am a huge animal lover - big and small! I have a pet cat called Peanut, who is 9 years old and not willing to share me, so unfortunately I am unable to have pets board at home. I live in the Narrowneck side of Devonport, and am available to (and would love to!) walk dogs from anywhere between Takapuna and Devonport. I live with my partner Dave in a rental with Peanut, so at this stage in our lives we are not able to provide a suitable home for a dog, but fingers crossed in a few years when we're settled in our own house we can extend the family!

Dog walking

Dave and I are active, and go for short walks most mornings, and medium-long walks most evenings. I stop to pat every dog and cat we come across, there are lots of lovely pets around who are keen to say hello or have a scratch on the tum! On weekends we go for long morning walks around Devonport, often up Mt Victoria or North Head, or we head to Takapuna to walk around the coast to Milford. We also enjoy driving around Auckland and beyond to go on hikes.

I am currently working for myself from home, so available at any time of the day. I am available all day most Saturday and Sundays. I am very comfortable and confident with dogs of all shapes and sizes and have plenty of experience caring for and walking dogs. I am open to any length of time for a walk, from 15 minutes to 2 hours, I am happy to provide a tailored walk for any special needs or requirements your dog may have.

Pet care at your home

If you are heading away on holiday, or just need me to come by and provide some company for your pet, I am more than happy to help. I am a trusted, respectful person, and available to do home visits. I can feed, walk, cuddle, play with and check on pets to ensure they are happy and healthy while you are away. Preferably you live in the Devonport - Takapuna area.

Please note I would like to walk and care for friendly, mild-mannered dogs that are child and dog-friendly, and ask that you please let me know if your dog is agressive, snappy or not comfortable around people or other dogs. In this instance I may politely decline your request to dog walk or visit your dog at your home. I am happy to visit and care for grumpy cats.
