Nice to meet you! I'm Lucy, 27 years old, and a recent post-graduate of Auckland University looking to get into the dog walking and pet sitting business. I was born and raised in the North Shore so I'm very familiar with our local parks, beaches, and neighbourhoods, and love to explore new places. I am based in both Sunnynook and Takapuna, so more than happy to service most areas of the North Shore!

I have a deep passion for everything plants and animals, including our beloved pets. As a life-long petowner myself I understand the commitment it takes to makes sure they're healthy, happy, and living their best life. I joined Pawshake so I can help other pet owners achieve this same goal! I'm all too familiar with the stress of leaving your pet behind on trips away from home, and make it my personal goal for each Pet Sitting and House Sitting service to minimize all the stress and anxiety for both you and your pets.

I'm a recent canine volunteer at SPCA Auckland and I LOVED my time there. My favourite part of the job was walking each and every dog and making sure they're all happy and de-stressed by the end of the day. It was amazing to witness what a simple walk does for these dogs in need. I'm therefore on a mission to make sure all our doggies on the Shore can feel that same happiness and content. Not to mention that a tuckered out pup is a quieter evening for you too!

I have a current animal first aid certification from Pet First Aid & Training NZ.

🐈 PET SITTING 🐈
~ 30 minute check-ins once or twice a day, happy to lump 2 visits into one 60min visit if you wish (can include a walk)
~ no extra charge for additional animals
~ take care of any pets by feeding, watering, medicating, playing, and cleaning up messes
~ house plants/garden watered and taken care of
~ a first aid kit on hand
~ general housekeeping: collect mail, take out/bring in bins, check security, etc.
~ a report after each visit and photos for your peace of mind


🏠 OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING 🏠
~ 24hr stay at your house, ideal for dogs and other pets that may be anxious, high maintenance, or just plain pampered
~ no extra charge for additional animals
~ up to 2 walks a day of 30-60 minutes
~ a detailed report however many times you need throughout the day and photos for your peace of mind
~ please note that I also require my significant other to stay with me
~ requests outside of the North Shore will be charged an extra rate of $15/night
