If you are looking for a relaxed and loving home for your dog or dogs while you're away, look no further.

We are Barry and Robbie, an active Kiwi couple that love dogs, rugby, travel and wine. I work part time from home and Barry is retired. At least one of us is generally home during the day.

We understand how difficult it is to leave your precious fur-baby, we've been there ourselves. Leaving our dear old Labrador with a pet-sitter was important for us. He was old and just couldn't cope with kennels. Sadly he passed away a few years ago at almost 15 years of age.

We meet our prospective clients with their dogs prior to the booking being confirmed and this helps put your mind at ease. Many of our clients haven't had holidays for years because they can't leave their pets. Your dog will be like part of our family. Safe, warm and loved.

We only accept one dog at a time or two dogs from the same family. This is to ensure your pet is comfortable and receiving the best care from us at all times.

Boarding dogs must be toilet trained, over two years old, neutered, registered, and under 18kg. We have stairs to our main living area and are happy to carry dogs that need help. We have a baby gate at the top of the stairs that is used when required.

We understand that each dog has unique needs. We will work with you to ensure that your pet is happy and relaxed while they are in our care. Whether they need plenty of playtime and exercise or prefer to chillout in a quiet environment, we will accommodate to their individual needs.

Our property in Rothesay Bay is fully fenced and very secure for all our boarding and day-care clients.

You will receive photos and/or videos of your dog's adventures daily while they are with us. Starting from within the first couple of hours if they are new with us. We want you to have a relaxed time away too. You will love the updates and will have no reason to worry about your dog.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Boarding Service - 24 hour time frame. We are flexible on drop off and pick up times (within reason!), let's discuss...If your drop off time is in the morning and pickup is in the afternoon you may need to book a doggie day care as well. We can discuss this at the meet and greet.

House sitting is also on a 24hr basis like boarding, again we are flexible on this.

Doggie Daycare service - drop off from 8am, pick up by 6pm.

Dog walking service - 30-40mins. One hour walks on request.
