Hi, my name is Penny and I am an avid dog lover.

Myself and my fiance have a little cavoodle called Queso. He is our baby and very spoilt at that! I have had dogs all my life, growing up in rural Otago on a sheep and cattle farm. Sometimes we would have 12 working dogs and 3 - 4 pets ranging from Dalmations, to Pomeranians and every one in between. I have been a rescue dog foster carer for the last 7 years in Melbourne. I have a keen interest in dog behaviours, and my partner and I are both very active, so beach walks and park playtime is daily.We have a large, fully (high) fenced backyard as well as multiple kennels and sheltered areas. Our house is large and empty so plenty of room for extra furry friends.

We take our dog for a run every day from 30-45 mins. We also have a local park where we take him off lead and play fetch. He LOVES to play and chase other dogs. We can separate our backyard as well so if Queso is too playful for an older dog, we can allow for time out.

Queso sleeps in our room on his bed on the floor ( although comes up in the mornings for cuddle time).

We do not have children or any other pets. Queso absolutely loves to play with other dogs. No aggressive dogs welcome.

I am more than comfortable distributing any kind of medication and have had experience with eye drops, ear drops, pills and injections.

I work from home 2-3 days a week which is flexible so can have supervision especially for new dogs and there is a large backyard to explore.
