Hi I’m Lydia and I have recently graduated from Otago University. I’m completing a summer internship for a guided hiking company in Queenstown currently. I love my job, and especially getting to call Queenstown my home for summer - I have been out running a lot and found some epic trails, which I know your dog would love too!

On top of my job, I would love to make a little extra cash by doing something I REALLY love, interacting with animals! Growing up I cared for our little cocker spaniel Jemma, three guinea pigs, three cats, and our recent cocketiel Albie. Moving to Queenstown meant I had to leave these fur and feather babies at home, so I’m trying to find a way to get in some cuddles with other animals.

I love exploring new walks and runs and I am happy for a furry friend to join me on my afternoon strolls (or runs!) around beautiful Queenstown. Our family dog recently passed away so I would love to have a furry companion for the warm summer evenings.

I understand that Summer is a busy time of year with many holidays planned, but due to my job I am spending my summer in Queenstown so will always be around to make sure your pet is looked after. I am really looking forward to broaden my neighbourhood connections with yourself and your pets, and am happy to keep your pet fit and healthy and your backyard poo free! Also, I understand how much animals love a bit of company so I am happy to go the extra mile and stay for a few pats, on top of catering for their needs.
