I have always had pets growing up, and have had quite the variety from Guinea Pigs and Rabbits all the way up to Horses and Cattle! I love hanging out with my current cat Carly who is very playful and loves an adventure.&nbsp;
I have cared for young animals as well as old, including my beautiful cat Leo who is 21 and on a wide variety of medication. Leo lives with my parents in Gisborne as he is not cleared for travel, so I travel to see him 4-6 times a year. I have a soft spot for older animals as they have so much love to give.
My partner (Luke) and I live in Hamilton and travel to Auckland most weeks for work, staying overnight with family. We work during the day, but would be best suited for an overnight stay with your furry friends, making sure they feel at home and don't have seperation anxiety. We use this service for our cat while we are away too, and thought it would be a wonderful way to return the favour as it puts us at ease. I am a classical musician (Flute) and would be so happy to perform for the pets if they enjoy it! Cows LOVE this, but little dogs do not.
We are happy to do most things for pets including grooming, feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, cleaning litter and sending many pictures so you know your companion is safe, happy and loved.&nbsp;

Hi! my name is Ivan and I am the kind of person that is always up for a walk no matter if is a long or short one, however at somepoint people are not always up for this plans, which is fine. Since around 17 years ago I discovered the key for persons like me, DOGS! These gentle, energetic and friendly beings are always willing to go around for a long or short walk, having a joyful time playing and running with other dogs or just walking or jogging next to us.
I have always being interested in these particular beings and how they in most of the cases are willing to give us a nice company.
Since many years ago I have being reading about their different breeds and their behavior, not so long ago I took a course focus on dogs behavior and the role they play in the family.&nbsp;
My main motivation of doing petsitting besides the extra work that can come for my extra time is to be able to be surrounded by these nice beings and the companion we can provide to each other.&nbsp;
About my personal experience: besides the fact that I have had my own dogs since 17 years ago and not just as normal pets but as respected beings or babies if you want to understand it that way being VERY WELL looked after, I had many times when I bring up my friends with their own dogs to come along to my walks or hikes and in many of those opportunities I would be the person actually looking after their dogs during the outing when they were busy working or doing other things.

I am a 22 year old currently back in auckland in between travelling and am looking at dog walking, feedings and sittings. I love pets and previously had a gorgeous ragdoll cat and also an energetic labrador who both unfortunately have passed away. I now have a young and loving cavoodle named Diba! I am a responsible young adult, and look forward to looking after your little fur baby. 
I love being in the outdoors and thought this would be a good way to not only walk and care for adorable pets but to also gain experience around looking after a wide range of pets and breeds. I live near a dog park and field but am also able to travel to your home. 
I have not had much experience but hope to change that soon! I have looked after my friends pets which have been rescues, old dogs, farm dogs and a crazy golden retriever pup. I have experience in giving oral medication as my dog was a senior dog, so it had become a daily routine. I can give daily exercise to your pet. Hey I'm a Frenchie living in Auckland and love being able to care for doggos on my free time.I grew up with a New Foundland dog which stayed in the family for 13 years. I really miss having a dog in my life, they are true companions providing so much love without any judgment (I'm a faithful audience of The Dog House). As I cannot host pets (I'm renting), I propose my services to pet sit them in the comfort of their home as well as dog walking, daily visits, trips to the dog park.
