Your dog will be treated as one of our own while they’re with us, just like a member of the family. We have one extremely friendly small dog who loves having visitors, and we’re more than happy to send daily updates or photos if you’d like them while your dog stays with us. My partner is home all day and has completed animal care/canine courses, and we live a calm, quiet lifestyle,  so your pup will always have experienced company and a peaceful environment and not be left home alone. We’ve hosted many dogs over the years and have a very secure property for peace of mind. The property is double-gated and has CCTV in all outdoor areas.
We also live close to the forest and the beach, so your dog can enjoy plenty of fresh air, nature walks, and fun outings, whatever suits their energy level and routine and what you are comfortable with which we will discuss with you. They will be walked twice a day if this suits their energy levels. We include plenty of enrichment, playtime, and gentle attention throughout the day.We only accept dogs from one household for overnight stays. We have a large collection of dog toys, balls and water toys for hot days but we do ask you bring your dogs bedding, a blanket or something with their scent from home.&nbsp;

I am a 20 year old, recent post secondary graduate in L3 animal care! I'm mostly experienced with cats of any temperament. But I also have some lived experience with rats. 
I am a very enthusiastic, empathetic person who has a cat of my own. He's a very shy, but loving boy who has given me over a year's lived experience with anxious cats. I've also volunteered with barn cats (often with aggressive behaviours), ferals, strays, traumatised cats with resulting health problems and kittens. I have very little experience with giving medications, but I am willing to learn!
I do local home visits, and can stay either for a limited amount of time per day (say an hour to play and feed) or stay for up to 2 nights if your cat requires full time supervision and care. I will ask about your cats regular routines, habits, diet and boundaries in order to make the experience as comfortable for you and your cat as possible! 

Hey there! We’re a couple in our mid-twenties living in our own home in sunny Beachgrove, Kaiapoi—dog lovers through and through.

We share our home with our two furbabies, Lando and Dixie, who are always excited to meet new canine pals. They’re friendly, fun, and great at picking up on other dogs’ energy—whether that means a play session or just minding their business. We're well prepped for dealing with any sort of territory or food boundaries other dogs may have. And our dudes are very good at sharing!

Most days you’ll find us at the local dog park, stretching legs and soaking up the sun. Evenings are all about couch cuddles, belly rubs, and winding down as a pack.

We’re a great fit for small to medium-sized pups for in-home stays, but we’re also more than happy to house sit for larger breeds. We’ve got plenty of experience with a wide range of personalities and sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas to high-energy Bordoodles to gentle American Staffies.

Dog walking - I will take your dog on a walk around your neighbourhood for 30 min - 1 hour based on the dogs ability and owners request.&nbsp;
House Sitting - I will stay in your home whenever I am not working. I will look after the animals and the house as if they were my own. Always cleaning up and locking up after myself.
Home Visits - I will come visit your home/animals and spend quality time playing and attending to your animal and do any extras needed of me such as bringing in the mail upon request.


I'm Megan, 27, own two cats. I've previously lived with dogs, chickens and birds, and I love animals. I am 100% dedicated to the well being, safety and happiness of your loved pets. I will ensure all instructions are followed. 
I'm comfortable feeding, cuddling and walking or playing with your animals. I am patient with nervous pets and can provide updates and photos if needed. 
I have experienced looking after reactive cats as well, and know how to approach and provide care to timid or uncertain cats. I love to give a good chin rub or lots play time if the cat/s allow it.
I can walk multiple dogs or just the one, my partner (Nicky, 28), and I are happy to take your fur baby on an adventure to the beach or dog park to play if it's on the weekend. Otherwise happy to go for normal 45min walk. 
I am currently available for walks and check in/s, as well as a weekday dog daycare as long as the dog isn't hyperactive for the full day and enjoys watching me make pottery.

Hello! I'm Lucy, a university student studying social work with two fur babies of my own. Mango, a gentle giant who has a very particular way for many things &amp; Kiwi, my extroverted fluffy guy who previously had a very intense medical routine. I currently babysit for a few different families, and I adore animals - so why not babysit the pets! 
The days i'm not at university I work as a support worker for adults, mentor children at their schools and regularly babysit neurodivergent children. I have grown up around large dogs &amp; often look after my families fur babies when they're traveling. If it wasn't for me renting then I'd have three of my own!

I love all types of animals however I myself am a cat person but I also LOVE dogs and have grown up with both all my life. I have a soft spot for dogs (especially golden retrievers) because I love to run around and get lots of exercise, but all dogs are amazing and I thoroughly enjoy spending time with them no matter the breed!

I have been a pet sitter for a gorgeous Cavoodle puppy which meant I had to be very vigilant to make sure he wasn't getting into too much mischief! I have also looked after a cat and a larger poodle at the same time which was a blast. I recently house sat a chocolate Labrador which was a challenge because he loved to steal my shoes and socks but ultimately I loved every minute of it!
