I provide a calm home environment for small breeds who don't do well in traditional daycare or large groups. I accept only 2 dogs at a time, and females only.
Relaxing music plays all day, a bed by the heater when it's cold and ice in their water on hot days. I offer a boutique homecare environment for your pup. She will have the run of my home, and permanent access to the garden which is fully fenced (wooden).&nbsp;
One of the main reasons I started a doggy homecare business was primarily due to my own frustration of not having any options for my little dog when I was working full time. I now work from home in lovely Omokoroa. When I'm not working in my study, I'm usually in the kitchen,  doing projects around the house and garden. Growing up, I've always had at least one dog in my life,  so caring for them and discerning their needs comes naturally to me. It seemed an obvious service to offer because I can now provide exactly what I was looking for all those years.
You can rest assured that your pup will be treated with the same attention and care as they would receive at home :)
Going away is meant to be relaxing, and the aim is for you to feel completely at ease that your pet is safe, happy,  calm and cared for.  An initial visit is always best,  for you to see how she feels about the environment and for us to assess whether she will settle well. If you know she's happy, you can totally relax too:)

Hello! My name is Lara, and I’m excited to offer a safe and loving environment for your furry friends.
I currently have shared custody of a miniature schnauzer, Charli. When Charli stays with my ex-partner, I really miss having her around, which is why I’d love to open my home to help care for other animals during those weeks.
At home, I have a friendly shorthair cat named Pebbles (who makes herself scarce when Charli or other dogs are here). And three chickens with their own fully enclosed space. Our yard is securely fenced, offering a safe and fun area for dogs to play.
I take daily walks through the local dog park and would love to have a canine companion join me. Since I work from home, your pet will never feel lonely and will receive plenty of attention and care.

Hi:)I love animals, especially dogs.I started looking after dogs three years ago in the UK when we wanted to get our own pet.We only care for one or two pets at a time so we can give them lots of attention, we love being outdoors.Over two years we looked after about 20 different doggies, all grown up, age 1 year olds and up.We have experience and knowledge of different dog breeds and find it very interesting how dogs behave depending on their breed.We are happy to look after child friendly pets, who are after lots of cuddles:-)I am at home most of the time, going out of house for about 2-3 hours a day. We can discuss the needs of each pet individually and plan the day accordingly, if your pet doesn’t like being home alone we can take him/her out when we go out.We follow strict instructions on feeding as we are very aware that dogs can’t eat everything and it’s extremely important to their health.Looking forward to meet and look after your lovely doggies. We love all types of dogs and have particularly soft spot for pugs and bulldogs :-)Happy to offer discount for longer stays.We also like guinea pigs and larger farm animals: pigs, horses and sheep.

Our property is fully fenced with space for sniffing, zoomies, and lounging in the sun. We’re just a five-minute walk from the beach, which we visit daily with Juno, so your dog will have plenty of exercise and stimulation.&nbsp;

I absolutely love animals and have heaps of experience caring for them. My dad grew up on a farm in Ukraine, so from a young age I was helping out with cows, rabbits, chickens and pigs. Later our family had dogs (a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd), and over the past 25 years we’ve also rescued and raised many stray cats.
A few years ago I got married and moved to New Zealand. Sadly, I had to leave my cat in Ukraine, as the country isn’t on the approved list for bringing pets here, and I miss her a lot. Since most rentals in New Zealand don’t allow pets, I found another way to share my love for animals — by caring for other people’s furry friends. It truly makes me happy🥹
I get along well with both cats and dogs. I can: walk and play with your dog around Papamoa ️️, pop in to spend time with them at your place🫂 and feed your pet
