Hi - My name is Ashana and I have been a lifelong dog lover and caregiver, with extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Back in Fiji, I grew up with seven wonderful dogs, each of whom taught me the joys and responsibilities of dog ownership. My journey with dogs deepened when I moved to Auckland, where I brought my soulmates and constant companions, Ava and Aries, with me.
Caring for Ava has been particularly meaningful, as she has Addison's disease. This condition has taught me the importance of careful, consistent care for dogs living with chronic illnesses. I am well-versed in administering daily medications and ensuring dogs are on track with their monthly vet visits. My experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of vigilance, patience, and love when caring for dogs with special needs.
I treat every dog as if they were my own, with a commitment to ensuring their happiness, health, and well-being while under my care. I only accept vaccinated pets under my care for the safety of my own pets, the pets in my care, and myself.

The services I provide include pet sitting in your home or day care mine (limited to 2 dogs )Preferably day care at yours , this is the best for your dog, as it will help to not bring in any unnecessary stress and keeps your baby comfortable as they will be in their home.&nbsp;I work from home so know that your dog will never be alone. Preferably taking care or them in your own home. But happy to have them at mine. Dog walks we for about an hour. Depending on the needs of the dog.Happy to give your baby a bath and dry if needed.&nbsp;
Taking your pet for check ups. Cannot administer medication unless directed by professional.&nbsp;
Taking your beautiful boy or girl for a walk.

I have different levels of experience from volunteering at the vets in the boarding kennel and assisting in the clinic. I have also spent time volunteering at the SPCA in puppy kennels and handling the new dogs that come in. My experience also ranges from big to small dogs. Ensuring that each animal gets the best care and is ready for adoption and to meet their new family&nbsp;
If extra assistance is required I am happy to lend a hand and do all that is needed for the animal in my care. Our pets are high priority and I will do my best to meet their requirements and their owners
