I am Sarai I have just moved to the mount and would love to take your little bff for walks to the beach parks and look after them. I am a very loving responsible active person who grew up around lots of pets since I was a baby and have had lots of furry friends ever since! I lived in papamoa beach for a bit where I looked after our flat dog khaleesi through her surgeries and before and after she got better and we were allowed to run around and go to cafes for treats!
I have lots of experience taking care of my dogs / cats as well as friends safely bringing them home from fun beach walks and I'm looking to get more experience as I'm wanting to go back to New York and do dog walking there as well! 

I loved moving to the mount (near the ocean and next to the park) and have decided to stay here for a little longer and get to know the area better and would love to meet you and help you out with your pets in the meantime! 
I do live right next to the park so if you leave your little friend with me we will have a lot of fun playing in the park as there's usually other friends that come play there! We have a fully fenced backyard where we will be safe and able to play also :)

My name is Sarah May (you can call me Maisy), I'm 27 years old and I love spending my time with furry (or not!) animal friends! I don't have a pet of my own at the moment, so I'd love to help take care of your pet :) My main goals as a pet-sitter/walker/etc. are: to keep your pet safe, to make you feel comfortable, and for your pet to have a great time.
I am primarily looking to do dog walking and/or house-visits for your pets, but am open to overnight pet-sitting as well.
I grew up with a VARIETY of animals - cats, dogs (golden retrievers and german shepherds), a leopard gecko, and hermit crabs. I have spent lots of time volunteering with animal shelters in California, where I am from. During this time I underwent multiple trainings where SAFETY was ingrained into me (how to properly pick up small dogs, how to walk large dogs that are just getting used to being on a leash). I worked at the Agoura Animal Shelter for 2 years looking after and walking dogs, and 1 year at the West LA Animal Shelter caring for rabbits.
I am comfortable accommodating your pup's specific needs if they have medical requirements. For example, prior to moving to Mount Maunganui I frequently dog-sat for a family who had a small 17-year old pup who required medication (oral) at dinner time, and lots of short walks. One of my favorite parts of pet-sitting is sending you, the owner, photos and updates of your pet having fun!
My family's current dog is a gorgeous German Shepherd male who absolutely LOVES to learn new games he can play with his humans and do LOTS OF TRAINING! That boy would sit, stay, and lay-down all day if I had the energy.
I can also help with non-furry friends, if you need a small pet like a lizard or hermit crab to be fed or looked after.&nbsp;
I'm happy to meet you and your pet first, I find it can be helpful for the pet to see the walker/sitter interact with their owner in a positive way!

Hi  I'm Rachael. I'm a reliable, trustworthy and versatile pet/house sitter in Tauranga. I'm in my late 20s, and have owned pets my entire life. Growing up we had cats and guinea pigs. Now, my partner and I live on a 15 acre lifestyle block with our elderly dog, Bella, my horse, Milly, and our stock (5 cows, 20 sheep). We also have chickens and bees. 
In the last few years, friends have asked me to house sit for various pets (cats, horses, dogs, stock, chickens) and I've really enjoyed it! 
I am fit and capable. I'm confident to walk dogs, and handle any rural animals - from mucking out to fencing and water, I've done it all. 
I prefer to come to you and look after your animals in their home environment, but we do have grazing available for short term stays for horses and stock. 
While I'm at your place, I'd be more than happy to help with any errands (mail, cleaning, watering plants, opening and closing windows etc - just ask). Depending on whether the stay is on a week night or weekend, I can stay for 1 hr+ during my visit(s), or might be able to stop in multiple times during the day depending on location. I am sensible and honest, and happy to keep in touch while you're away.

We love pets but at the moment do not have any of our own so we hope joining Pawshake will give us the opportunity to get some pet love while we decide what kind of pet to commit to. One kid wants a cat and one wants a dog so this will help us decide which pet to get :)
I (Nichola) grew up on a dairy farm so have lots of experience with all different animals (cows, horses, pigs, sheep) and always had a pet dog and cat growing up. We spend a lot of time with our family members dog 'Cass'. He is a medium sized dog that needs lots of exercise so we take him for walks on the beach and throw the ball to him. Our neighbours cat is always coming over for snuggles and a pat and we are always the first pick for daily visits to our friends cat Sugar when they go on holiday. When we go for walks all of the neighbourhood cats come out for a cuddle and we love stopping and saying hi and giving them all a pat. We are a family of four (Mum, Dad and two kids 4 &amp; 6) and we do not have any pets of our own.I work from home so there will always be someone around for your pet if I had to pop out I could take the dog with me or if it does not like to go in the car it could stay home for a max of 1-2 hours. I only really pop out to get the kids from school or run errands.If your pet was to stay over we could put a bed in the lounge or bedroom, where ever it is usually comfortable sleeping. We have a fully fenced secure backyard and the beach is just across the road so we would take them for walks at the beach or the reserve at the end of our street. We would go for 1 or 2 30 minutes walks a day. More or less depending on what your pet is used to. We would only have one pet boarding at a time so it would only be your pet that we would be caring for.
