I am Irish, grew up in Luxembourg, and arrived in New Zealand in 2014. I am passionate about nature, including walks and hikes in the bush or on the beach. This is something that I find easy to combine with my passion for dogs. I have grown up with medium sized dogs (Irish Setter and Gordon Setter), though I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. My wife and I currently have two very sociable Italian Spinoni (1 puppy and 1 adult).

I did some dog sitting and walking a few years ago via Pawshake and I am looking to get back into it again. Both our dogs are fully vaccinated and are great around other dogs and people. They are easy-going, low energy and friendly. Happy to bring either puppy and/or older dog along if people want, knowing that a bit of socialisation and doggy company is always nice. Equally happy to leave them behind while I'm out for walk or visit.

I am available for walks or checking in on dogs, feeding them or playing with them. I have also done some training in dog behaviour a few years ago when preparing to get our first spinone. Together with the practical experience, it gives me a reasonably good understanding of how dogs behave and how to behave around them.
