We are a family of dog lovers and appreciators. Having an extra animal around during long weekend and holidays makes the experience great for us.

We live in a modest family home with two girls (8 and 10

) and one cruisy cat, so we can take dogs who are not strongly prey-driven or food-agressive. The kids are well behaved and never with an animal unsupervised.

We have a moderate sized and fenced back yard and there is a large reserve and river walk nearby for exercise. We are lifetime dog owners and know that routine, exercise and consistency are important. We will follow your instructions for their care. 

Our yard is dog friendly and enclosed but if  your dog is highly motivated to stray, a jumper or a climber, there are some opportunities (see pictures of the yard). We also have a large dog crate set up do you don't need to transport yours if you need crate training. 

We need your dog's commands, routine and preferences but don't require them to be vaccinated in order to book, just that you let us know so we know who they can socialise them with. We also allow snuggles on beds and couches unless this is against your rules!

We walk regularly and have a cat door that works for smaller dogs.

Would love to have another forever dog but circumstaces won't allow for that just yet - but would all love to lavish some love on your special pet for a holiday! Weekends include several outings and a lot of focus on our furry visitors.

We're can't promise to be home all day every day, so don't offer all day care to new dogs, but we do spend as much time as humanly possible with our dogguests!
