Botique boarding for cats in a home environment. We only offer boarding at our home, not house/pet sitting currently. 

Good for people who aren't comfortable with people staying over in their homes, but still want their cats to have a homely feel. 

Sam
Felines have been the center of my working life for the past 11+ years. I've worked in catteries, veterinary clinics, shelters and have 'cat sit', so have looked after cats from many different walks of life. I have a BSc in Animal Behaviour, and am now focusing specifically on feline behaviour. Being a 'fear free' shelter graduate, I take a gentle approach and have a special interest in the shyer and 'spicier' cats. Consent and choice are important components of their stay. I am the proud guardian of 4 sweet wee female rats, who I adore.

Ally
I have 10 years of experience within the animal husbandry industry (ranging from different animal attendant roles to managing a cattery/kennel facility) and a BSc in animal welfare and management. I am a Mama guardian to one cat and four guinea pigs who are all spoiled and call my bedroom their own. My passion is animal welfare: providing not only a comfortable and appropriate environment with an animal's needs catered for but also nuturing the animals emotional state- how they feel. To make sure they don't just have the 'things' and space they need, but that they feel confident, comfortable and content.

Our Service
A cattery is not for every cat. Through our joint experience, we have seen how important it is for certain shy or sensitive cats to remain in a homely setting. We have two bedrooms available in our home for the care of your feline family member. They can holiday in a real home, with sounds and surroundings that are much more familiar than the cages and number of other felines in a cattery. They can watch birds out the window and snuggle up on a couch, much like they would do at home, while enjoying a lot more space than most catteries can offer. 

Through respect and trust, play and affection, your cat will gain confidence and feel settled and loved during their stay.

Mimics Home Schedule
We do work full time on different days, however we find this to be a good balance for cats as the hours mimic the home life better when compared to traditional catteries, where they could have someone onsite for some hours of the day and have no one for the evening/night when workers have gone home. Routine is extrememly important to cats, especially when they are in an unfamiliar place, so us being there for evening/night snuggles and the morning hype is more like a typical home shedule they can adjust to more easily. Sam also works at home frequently so they can usually have some day time attention where possible. 

*Subject to avalability, you can enquire about our clicker training addition. Clicker trianing is great enrichment for felines, so we sometimes offer this service to teach your cats a few tricks while you are away, going at the cats pace and learning level. We also can offer 'coping skills' at selected times also. 

Pick up and drop off service also available at certain times/locations, with fear free methods of travel used.
